Service Terms and Conditions 2026

SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PT. INDOEXPRESS LOGISTICS

Effective: January 1, 2026, until a new version is issued.

Scope: Air freight, sea freight, import, export, domestic logistics, door-to-door services, customs support, cargo insurance, and related logistics support services.

Article 1 - Definitions

IndoExpress.co.id means PT. IndoExpress Logistics, a logistics service provider operating under the IndoExpress.co.id brand and the domain www.indoexpress.co.id.

User, Customer, Shipper, or Consignee means any individual, company, institution, or authorized party using IndoExpress.co.id services.

Shipment means one or more packages, cartons, pallets, containers, or cargo units handled under the same operational instruction, AWB, B/L, booking, or shipment reference.

Chargeable Weight means the greater value between actual gross weight and volumetric weight, calculated under the applicable freight formula.

Article 2 - Service Scope

IndoExpress.co.id provides logistics services on a service-only basis. IndoExpress.co.id does not provide a landed-cost guarantee unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Service scope may include pickup, origin handling, freight, customs support, destination handling, local delivery, documentation support, vendor coordination, and cargo insurance when requested.

Article 3 - Rates and validity

All rates are indicative until booking is confirmed and validated by IndoExpress.co.id. Rates may change due to capacity, fuel surcharge, carrier changes, port congestion, foreign exchange movement, government regulation, or force majeure.

Unless stated otherwise, freight rates exclude duty, tax, VAT, excise, permit charges, storage, demurrage, detention, quarantine, inspection, undername, government charges, and third-party charges.

Article 5 - Payment Terms

Unless a written credit facility is approved, payment must be completed before cargo release or before the relevant operational milestone determined by IndoExpress.co.id.

Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, virtual account, RTGS, or other methods agreed in writing.

Article 6 - Exclusions

IndoExpress.co.id quotations and invoices do not include import duty, export duty, VAT, income tax, excise, customs penalties, restricted-goods permits, quarantine, storage, demurrage, detention, inspection, fines, undername charges, insurance, or government charges unless expressly stated in writing.

Article 7 - Customs Value and HS Code

The Shipper and/or Consignee is responsible for providing accurate cargo description, commercial invoice value, HS code, supporting documents, and permit information.

IndoExpress.co.id may assist with customs review, but final responsibility for the truthfulness and completeness of documents remains with the cargo owner or legally responsible party.

Article 8 - Restricted and Special Cargo

Dangerous goods, batteries, chemicals, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, used goods, oversized cargo, overweight cargo, reefer cargo, open-top, flat-rack, break bulk, project cargo, high-value cargo, and regulated goods require prior review and written confirmation.

Article 9 - Prohibited Goods

IndoExpress.co.id may reject cargo that is illegal, undeclared, misdeclared, unsafe, restricted without permit, counterfeit, prohibited by origin, transit, or destination regulation, or unsuitable for the requested transport mode.

Article 10 - Packaging

The Shipper is responsible for proper packaging suitable for international or domestic transport, handling, stacking, vibration, temperature, pressure, and normal logistics movement.

Article 11 - Liability

IndoExpress.co.id liability is limited to direct logistics handling responsibility and does not cover indirect loss, market loss, production loss, loss of profit, regulatory delay, customs hold, or losses caused by incomplete or inaccurate customer information.

Article 12 - Insurance

Cargo insurance is optional unless required by policy or agreed scope. IndoExpress.co.id recommends cargo insurance for high-value, fragile, sensitive, or time-critical goods.

Article 14 - Import Procedure

Import shipments may require commercial invoice, packing list, AWB or B/L, tax information, power of attorney, import permits, product certificates, and other customs documents depending on commodity type.

Article 15 - Export Procedure

Export shipments may require commercial invoice, packing list, exporter data, packing declaration, export permit, product certificate, and destination-country compliance documents depending on commodity type.

Article 16 - Force Majeure

IndoExpress.co.id is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, strike, epidemic, pandemic, cyberattack, government action, carrier disruption, port closure, airport closure, or regulatory change.

Article 17 - Data Privacy

IndoExpress.co.id processes customer, shipper, consignee, and shipment data only for logistics fulfillment, customs compliance, administration, communication, billing, and lawful operational requirements.

Article 18 - Amendment

IndoExpress.co.id may update these terms when required by operational, regulatory, carrier, or commercial changes. Continued use of service means acceptance of the updated terms.

Article 19 - Dispute Resolution

Any dispute should first be resolved through good-faith discussion. If no settlement is reached, the dispute may be escalated under the applicable laws and agreed dispute resolution forum in Indonesia.
