Customs Broker in Indonesia (PPJK)

A customs broker in Indonesia is called a PPJK (Pengusaha Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan) — a company licensed by Customs (DJBC) to file import declarations (PIB) on behalf of importers. IndoExpress has been a licensed PPJK and freight forwarder in Jakarta since 2005, clearing cargo daily at Tanjung Priok seaport and Soekarno-Hatta airport.

FAQ

How much does a customs broker cost in Indonesia?
Our brokerage fees are published in the app and quoted verbatim above (e.g. Rp 1.879.500 per AWB for air freight up to 500 kg). Duty, taxes, port charges, storage and trucking are separate.
How long does customs clearance take in Indonesia?
With complete documents and no permit issues, 1–3 working days after arrival. Red-lane inspections or missing LARTAS permits add time; that is why we pre-check before shipment.
Do I need an Indonesian company to import?
Commercial imports need an Indonesian importer with NIB/API. If you have none, we act as importer of record under contract.
Which ports do you cover?
Tanjung Priok (Jakarta seaport) and Soekarno-Hatta (CGK airport) directly; other Indonesian ports on request or via Jakarta with domestic on-forwarding.
