The first question is not the weight but in whose name the goods are imported. That decides the service, the documents and who pays the duties.

Indonesian company holds an NIB valid as an import licence (API) and imports in its own name
IDX Import Port to Port (freight to the Jakarta port/airport, including Jakarta local charges) + IDX Customs Clearance (PIB/SPPB, document & HS code review). Duties and import taxes are paid by your company as importer. Origin pickup and delivery to your warehouse are available as Add-ons.
No Indonesian import licence, or you want one door-to-door price
IDX Import DTD DDP: one all-in price covering freight, customs, import duty, VAT & income tax on import, and delivery. Eligibility of the goods (including restricted-goods status) is checked before we quote.
Goods already shipped by another carrier
IDX Customs Clearance only, at Tanjung Priok or Soekarno-Hatta.
Samples, spare parts, small restocks
IDX Import Drop Point Consol DDP: all-in consolidation from 10 kg (air) or 0.5 CBM (sea) from the available origin warehouses.
Exports from Indonesia
IDX Export Port to Port: freight from Jakarta to the destination port/airport; pickup, export declaration and destination charges as Add-ons.
Distribution within Indonesia
IDX Nusantara DTD: air, sea LCL/FCL and trucking between cities and islands.
How We Work with Companies
RFQ. Your purchasing, supply chain or trade team sends the requirement by WhatsApp, email or our app: goods, route, weight/volume, value of the goods, timing, and whether the Indonesian consignee holds its own import licence.
Written quotation. We issue a written quotation naming the service, what is included and not included, and how long it is valid.
Booking in the app. Once approved, the booking is made at app.indoexpress.co.id. Your PO number or internal reference can be entered on the booking.
Documents. Commercial invoice, packing list and photos of the goods are required before operations processes the shipment. Further documents (permits, certificate of origin, MSDS) depend on the goods.
Tracking. Shipment status, from booking confirmed, document check and pickup through to delivery, is shown on the tracking timeline in the app.

Bill of Lading or Air Waybill.
For imports in your own name: NIB valid as API with a matching business classification, tax ID (NPWP), consignee name and address exactly as on the transport document, and a contact person.
Permits for restricted goods (LARTAS) where applicable, e.g. BPOM, SNI, SDPPI, quarantine or import approval.
Certificate of origin (Form E, Form D, etc.) if you want preferential duty; eligibility is checked per HS code.
What We State Up Front
Written cost scope. Every service has an included/not-included list: the “Cost Scope” card in the app and the binding Terms & Conditions.
VAT. Prices in the app exclude VAT; the quotation states it separately.
Storage & demurrage. Under IDX Import DTD DDP we bear them, unless caused by the customer’s document errors or delays. Under port-to-port, export and domestic services they are borne by the customer.
Cargo insurance. Available on request; mention it in your RFQ for high-value cargo.
Special cargo. Restricted goods (LARTAS), dangerous goods, reefer and out-of-gauge cargo are accepted only after written confirmation.

We are a foreign supplier selling to an Indonesian buyer. Who should be the importer?
If your Indonesian buyer holds an NIB valid as an import licence, it imports in its own name using IDX Import Port to Port and IDX Customs Clearance. If not, IDX Import DTD DDP delivers the goods all-in to the address; we check the goods’ eligibility before quoting.
Can you handle recurring monthly shipments?
Yes. Send the lane, goods and expected monthly volume in one RFQ. The written quotation states its validity, and each shipment is booked in the app with your PO number.
Are prices published?
Base rates per lane are on our rates pages and in the app. The price for your shipment is fixed in the written quotation once goods, volume and address are clear. App prices exclude VAT.
Do you offer DDP for exports from Indonesia?
No. Exports are port to port, with destination charges and delivery as optional Add-ons; duties and taxes in the destination country are paid by the receiver.
Which ports and airports do you clear?
Customs clearance is handled in Jakarta, at Tanjung Priok (sea) and Soekarno-Hatta (air). Onward delivery to other Indonesian cities is arranged with IDX Nusantara DTD.
