Drop-off Warehouses Abroad for Shipping to Indonesia
Your supplier can drop off goods at an IDX Drop Point warehouse in the origin country instead of arranging international shipping themselves. From there we handle the rest: consolidation, origin export documents, freight, Indonesian customs clearance, import duty and taxes (DDP) and delivery in Jakarta. This page explains each step, so cartons are not held at the warehouse for a missing marking or document.
Service: IDX Import Drop Point Consol DDP (warehouse to door). Goods are delivered to the origin warehouse by the shipper; pickup from the supplier is available as an Add-on where it can be served in the origin city. Outside Jakarta: forwarded to a warehouse or port in the destination city, door delivery confirmed by our operations team.
General cargo (GENCO), non-restricted. Suits goods bought from 1688, Taobao, Alibaba and factories in China.

Step by Step
Book in the app: choose IDX Import Drop Point Consol DDP and the origin warehouse, enter the goods, estimated weight or volume and delivery address.
Booking confirmation: our team checks that the goods are eligible, then issues the warehouse address and marking code.
Prepare the cartons: put the marking code on every carton, include the commercial invoice and packing list, and keep photos of the goods.
Drop off: your supplier or a local courier delivers to the Drop Point warehouse at the shipper’s cost, or choose the pickup Add-on.
Receiving: goods are weighed, measured, photographed and matched to the booking.
Consolidation and origin export documents, both included in the price.
Freight and Indonesian customs: import duty and taxes are paid within the DDP price; status shows on the tracking timeline in the app.
Delivery to the address in Jakarta, or to a warehouse or port in another destination city. The final invoice follows actual weight or volume.
Marking Rules
Use the marking code we issue exactly as given, one code per booking.
Mark every carton on a visible side, not just one carton.
Add carton numbers such as 1/5, 2/5 so completeness is easy to check.
Goods from several suppliers use the same marking code and should arrive close together.
Included and Not Included
Included
Warehouse handling, storage of up to 3 working days, origin export documents, freight, customs clearance, import duty and taxes, delivery in Jakarta (other cities to a warehouse or port in the destination city).
Not included
Getting goods to the Drop Point warehouse (or the pickup Add-on), storage beyond 3 working days, special repacking, special export licences, and VAT on our service fee as invoiced.
The binding scope is on the "Cost Coverage" card in the app and in our Terms & Conditions.
Packing Tips
Use strong cartons, fill empty space, and protect fragile items. One type of goods per carton makes inspection easier. Special repacking at the warehouse can be requested, outside the Drop Point price.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does drop-off mean for this service?
Drop-off means you or your supplier deliver the goods to our Drop Point warehouse in the origin country; we do not collect them unless you add pickup as an Add-on. From the warehouse we consolidate and ship to Indonesia under IDX Import Drop Point Consol DDP, with import duty and taxes included.
Where can I drop off goods?
At our Drop Point warehouses in China (Guangzhou and Foshan), Singapore, Johor (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong, Taiwan, Seoul (South Korea) and California (USA). Air or sea options and minimums per warehouse are shown in the app.
When do I get the warehouse address and marking code?
After your booking in the app has been confirmed by our team. The address and marking code are issued only after confirmation, so every carton that arrives can be matched to its booking.
What if my supplier forgets the marking code?
Send our team the local tracking number and photos of the cartons as soon as possible so they can be matched. Cartons without a marking code risk delays because they must be identified first.
How long can goods wait at the warehouse?
Storage of up to 3 working days is included in the Drop Point price. Beyond that, the Terms & Conditions apply, so try to have all cartons for one booking arrive close together.
Which goods are not accepted?
The Drop Point is for general cargo (GENCO) that is not restricted. Restricted goods are handled only through the restricted-goods variant from Singapore and Johor (sea LCL). Powders, liquids, batteries, dangerous goods and counterfeit items are not accepted.
Do you deliver to the door in Indonesia?
In Jakarta, yes, to the consignee address. For other cities, goods are forwarded to a warehouse or port in the destination city, and door delivery is confirmed by our operations team. Each booking is delivered to one consignee address.
